The American Fisheries Society (AFS) recognizes the need to elevate tribal voices and experiences in the fisheries profession. To support tribal students and early career professionals, AFS is offering sponsorships to attend our annual meeting August 20-24, 2023, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This will provide opportunities for Indigenous college students and early career professionals to attend an international fisheries conference, meet peers and other professionals, attend sponsored events, and broaden their horizons.
